COMPOSITE CYLINDER: LIGHTWEIGHT AND DURABLE

AGA composite cylinder

A composite cylinder is the most popular choice for your home, boat, summer cottage or grill – and no wonder! It’s extremely light, only about half the weight of a corresponding steel cylinder. Thanks to the grip-friendly handle, it is also easy to lift and carry.

The composite material of fiberglass reinforced polymer is very durable and resists sunshine, UV radiation and temperature changes. The composite bottle does not rust or scratch, and it is easy to keep clean. Because the bottle is transparent, you can see how much gas is left.

  • Easy to keep clean
  • Durable

AGA propane in a composite cylinder is available in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia and Latvia. Composite cylinders come in sizes of 5 and 10 kg with a click-on valve (Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) or a screw valve (Sweden and Norway). In Norway, there is also a 14 kg composite motorgas truck cylinder available, for professional use only.

The evaporation capacity of a composite cylinder is not as good as that of a steel or aluminum cylinder. This may weaken the usage in cold conditions when there is only little gas left in the cylinder, which can cause the heater’s flame to go out.

Composite cylinders are suitable for

  • Grills
  • Boats
  • Mosquito killers
  • Weed burning

Composite cylinders are inspected every 10 years.
